Air Force One Over Mount Rushmore
READ FIRST: This is NOT a political blog, but a virtual prayer closet. We will meet, and offer up prayers to God, our Father, in Jesus' Name, for our President of the United States and the leaders of our nation.
I Timothy 2:1-4 "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."
I feel a heavy burden to pray for our President. Regardless of your political affiliation, I hope you will join me in lifting him and his family before the Lord, along with those who work on our behalf in all levels of governmental responsibility, including those in the armed forces.

Lord, I thank Your for my nation, for her people, and for our freedom. I pray for my President as he faces many difficult decisions. I pray that you will strengthen President Bush, and give him wisdom from above.
I pray that angels will guard him night and day, and for protection for his family.
Lord, be with our troops as they fight for our freedom.
I thank You that I can call upon You in times of distress and know You are in control.

Father, extend your merciful hand to our nation. Cover President Bush and his family with your mercy and peace. Light his path with your knowledge and peace. In Your name I pray.
Heavenly Father you heal the sick and full the spirit each and everyday. Without you gudiance lord we a man are unknowledgeable of your grace and your reasons. I ask of your Holy spirit take hold of the President Bush and his family and give them strength, your words in comfort. And take hold of every spirit there at the white house and use them to help and love and in you name sake.
You lord control all as it is said in your word. God surround your grace and wisdom and love upon this earth like blanket of your Holy spirit and may touch and lift every man, woman and child and yes the president Bush.

May the difficult decisions that President Bush makes reflect you wisdom and be to you glory OhLord. May you Protect and encourage our troops as the fight for freedom in foreign lands. Someone once said, "Faith must have a resting place." That is, any assault on our faith can destroy us unless we are established firmly in God's truths.
Father, God, we pray that our faithful President find Your Word as his solid base for discernment, direction and decision. May he never falter under the heavy burdens imposed upon him daily, but his faith in You find its resting place and carry him through. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, the Christ.
Lord, thank You for fellow prayer warriors.
God, I pray with Eileen that You will have mercy on our country. May your Holy Spirit rest, as Feone said, as a blanket, over us. I agree with Jan in prayer that we must be established in the truth of Your Word, and I pray that our leaders will look to You for discernment and direction before each decision.
I ask that You honor our faith, moving by Your Holy Spirit to answer prayers. Protect our President and give our leaders wisdom. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' precious, sweet, and holy Name I pray, Amen.

Dear Lord, thank You for Rhodi. I stand in agreement - thank You for the privilege of prayer, and for the freedom to post these prayers, and I pray those who stop by will be encouraged to pray, too. God, I thank You for another day of protection for the President as he traveled across our country. Give President Bush wisdom, patience, and more wisdom, as he wrestles with the issues facing this great nation. Be with him in the coming days. May angels surround him, and give him peace in the midst of the storms that surround him. In Jesus' holy name I pray, Amen.
Mighty God, we know that you place our leaders on the "throne" whether they be godly or wicked. These men and women are administrators of your justice and your mercy, and we honor them for your sake. Lord, please be with President Bush and direct his paths. Draw him near and give him wisdom based on the truth of your word. Help him to stand firm on principles of truth and not to waiver under pressure from ungodly sources. When he errs, give him the humility to admit it and the strength of character to right the course.
We ask you also to send revival to our land. Wake us up spiritually, Lord and fill us with your Spirit.

Lord, I thank You for the privilege of prayer. As our nation prepares to observe the National Day of Prayer, I pray for a record number of prayer warriors, that we will pray in unison for the safety of the President, all of our leaders, and our troops. I pray for wisdom and for divine guidance.
Lord, today on our National Day of Prayer, I come to Your throne along with millions of others to pray for our President, our leaders, and our nation.
I pray for our President as he speaks at the NDOP observances in Washington, D.C. Lord, give President Bush words of wisdom, and peace that comes through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. I pray also as he meets with Uruguayan President Tabare Vazquez and as he brings remarks on Cinco de Mayo. Oh, God, protect Him and all who travel with him today.
Lord, I pray for those who love this nation, that they will see their need for You, and that our hope lies in You. Lord, I pray that we will live in obedience to Your will.
God, You have greatly blessed this country, and we are grateful. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

Thank you for our leaders and for the people who care enough about the future to preserve it in the present.

Defend our liberties, and fashion into one united people the multitudes brought hither out of many kindreds and tongues. Endue with the spirit of wisdom those to whom in thy Name we entrust the authority of government, especially President Bush and all government officials, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that, through obedience to thy law, we may show forth thy praise among the nations of the earth. Stretch forth, we pray thee, thine almighty arm to strengthen and protect the military of our country. Dear God, as our President travels back and forth today to Baghdad, please be with him, going before him, giving him strength and wisdom as he maneuvers the political battleground and the very real battleground in Iraq. Protect him, Lord. Thank you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Oh, God, I have no idea what's on the President's agenda today. I do know that You will be with him. I ask that You make Yourself real to him in a powerful way today through the working of the Holy Spirit. Protect and guide him. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
I'm drawn to this blog today to offer special prayers for our nation. Oh, God, protect us, protect our leaders. Guide them in the right ways. Give them wisdom beyond their natural abilities. Help us as a people to call on You in all situations and at all times. I give You glory for You alone are worthy of all praise and honor and thanksgiving. In the precious, sweet, holy, name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Dear God Who is in control, Who knows our every thought, Who hung the planets, and flung the stars into place,
I come humbly before you and ask that you protect and help our President and all who lead this great country. May they be wise in their decisions and turn to You for guidance.
Have mercy on us and help us as individuals to lead lives worthy of Your grace.
